I have added a new Joomla module that shows the message count for your Zimbra Inbox. This can be seen on the left hand side of the front page. It can be downloaded from the download area of this site.

The Zimbra information module has been updated to show the License Expiry date and overall Mail Queue counters. The new version is available for download from the download area of this site.

I have updated my Joomla Plugin that handles Zimbra account creation when a Joomla account is created. This now uses the same password for the new Zimbra account as was specified for the Joomla account. It also creates the new Zimbra account as locked until the Joomla account is actived (via a link in an activation e-mail). The new version is available for download from the download area of this site.

Due to the large number of dummy registrations that I have received on this site, I have had to turn on the Joomla new user account activation option. This will cause the registration process to send a verification e-mail to the e-mail address given during registration with a link used to activate the account.

Problems with IMAP clients failing to connect to Zimbra has been fixed. Looks like the 5.0.6 GA upgrade reset the the Server values for the IMAP ports used so that IMAP was on port 7143, changed to port 143 and restarted.

Finally finally finally managed to track down the problem that caused account registration to tak soooooo long. Joomla is configured by default to the use PHP Mailer function to send e-mails to notify users of account creation. Changed this to use the local SMTP Server (Zimbra) and that fixed it.
